My stay at the Palace was filled with luxury and grandeur, making it a memorable experience overall. The lavish decor and variety of dining options were impressive, especially the breakfast buffet. However, the service could be inconsistent at times, and the incident I faced regarding safety left a lot to be desired. Despite its stunning atmosphere, the concern for personal safety and staff responsiveness needs attention.

The hotel was a spectacular escape with a unique atmosphere. I felt like royalty during my stay, with breakfast options that included champagne and oysters—a real treat. The staff were mostly great, though I did encounter some less than friendly faces at the reception. On the downside, the transport situation back to the main hotel was a hassle, and my room had a few maintenance issues. All in all, I had a memorable stay, but there are areas that could use improvement.

Rooms
7.0
While the room was spacious and well-maintained, I faced a couple of issues, including a blocked basin plug and an air conditioning unit that wasn't working properly.
Service

The service from the majority of the staff was excellent, with everyone going out of their way to cater to our needs. However, the check-in staff could have been more welcoming.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location is impressive, but the shuttle service could be improved, as I had to wait quite a while for transport back to the main hotel.
Dining

My stay at The Palace was truly a memorable experience with spectacular grounds and a fantastic selection of dining options. I particularly enjoyed the sunset views from the Kings tower and the exquisite food, though I did encounter a small issue with bees around the food at one point. The staff were mostly friendly and made the stay enjoyable, with a special shoutout to Onicca and Marie who were simply delightful. While I had a wonderful time overall, I feel the experience could improve with better management of outdoor dining areas.

Rooms

The rooms were a bit snug and looked tired, lacking the elegance I expected.

The Palace is set in a stunning resort that both kids and parents adore, with attentive staff and beautiful surroundings. However, the maintenance issues with the fridge and the poor dining options significantly detract from the experience. Despite these shortcomings, the lovely atmosphere around the pool and delicious breakfasts made for an overall enjoyable stay.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms are comfortable, but they feel dated and in need of maintenance. Small issues like toilet rolls falling off and taps that don't work properly were frustrating.
Service
6.0
Service was mostly attentive, but there were lapses in maintenance response times, especially regarding the fridge, which was critical for my daughter's medication.
Location

The location is beautiful, with fantastic views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for families.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was disappointing overall. The food was bland, and in some cases, inedible. Breakfast was particularly hit-and-miss, with some poorly prepared items.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities are lovely, especially the pool, but cleanliness around the pool area could use more attention, especially with the wildlife nearby.

My stay at the Palace of the Lost City was an interesting mix of luxury and some notable service challenges. The grandeur of the hotel and the extensive range of activities kept me entertained, though the dining and check-in experiences definitely could use some improvements. Overall, it has a lovely atmosphere, but there were moments that felt lacking in personal touch, especially for the price I paid.

Rooms
9.0
The luxury rooms are superb, spacious, and offer a beautiful view of the pool and garden. It truly feels like a palace, though some rooms are in desperate need of renovation to maintain the appeal at current rates.
Service
6.0
The service was a mixed bag; while some staff were friendly and helpful, the reception experience left a lot to be desired, lacking the professionalism expected at this level.
Location
8.0
The location is beautiful, surrounded by lush landscapes and plenty of attractions, but navigating through the area can be daunting, especially for families.
Dining
6.0
Dining experiences varied widely; breakfast was wonderful, but I found some meals disappointing and poorly prepared, which was surprising given the high costs.
Facilities
9.0
The facilities are impressive with a wide range of amenities to enjoy, including pools and recreational activities that kept my family entertained.
